Kids Yoga
Alexia recently completed the Kids Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training Course with Suzanne Vian and is a certified Kids Yoga Teacher with Life Bright International
Kids Yoga helps children develpop flexibility, balance, fine and gross motor skills and strength. It gives children an opportunity to manage any upcoming issues or stress related to their lives through breathing and imaginary play.
We live in a transient, international community where our children are often faced with the challenge of new environments, new relationships as well as the loss of established friendships and familiar environments.
Kids Yoga and Mindfulness helps our children cope with the constant changes and any strong feelings that may come up, by using play, asana and breathing. The group setting promotes harmonious relationship with others as well as creating a feeling of belonging, encouraging creativity and limitless imagination.
Yoga and Mindfulness gives children a cheerful, "take away" appoach to help them manage life's waves of challenges and growth. Supporting their development and finding their identity, they can use yoga and breathing throughout their lives wherever they may be to tap into their balanced, happy, peaceful and strong inner being.
