AQUA YOGA

Swim Hanoi is proud to announce that as of February 2016 Aqua Yoga classes will be

open for registration!

Aqua Yoga is a relatively new form of Yoga. It offers all the benefits of Dry land yoga with the additional benefit of being low impact on the joints and bones. Aqua Yoga is accessible to every age group, irrespective of fitness level, previous yoga experience or swimming competence. It is a gentle, meditative practice, offering deep fascial stretches and increasing flexibility and balance as well as relaxing the body and through rhythmic breathing exercises.

As the human body bears less weight in the water, aqua yoga makes it possible for people with joint pain to improve their strength, flexibility, and range of motion without experiencing the pain they would during dry land exercises. Muscles relax and can be stretched and strengthened with less risk of injury.

Aqua Yoga is the ideal for people with arthritis, hip and/or knee replacements, anxiety, pre-natal/post-natal, post-surgery, people with difficulties balancing, sciatica, and beginners as well as people who already have a regular practice.

50' minute sessions once a week (Wednesday mornings)

Maximum number of participants: 10

Minimum: 5

Number of Classes: 10

Instructor fees: 100 USD for 10 Sessions per student

Props and Equipment will be provided by Instructor

Entrance Fee to the Pool is paid separately directly to the facility
