SWIM HANOI's future

As some of you may already be aware of, Swim Hanoi's founder Alexia Demetriou will be moving away from Vietnam after 5 years in Hanoi.

"I'm so grateful for all the wonderful memories, opportunities and above all, the love and support I have received over the past few years with Swim Hanoi.

It started out with just two students and grew into a family of hundreds, with two and sometimes even three instructors teaching simultaneously. Most of all I am grateful for my students, many of which I have seen grow and become amazing and inspiring swimmers.

I hope that my team and I have planted the seed for the LOVE of WATER that will remain a lifelong passion for everyone who has passed through our swimming sessions, no matter what age!

I will miss it all terribly, no doubt at all. But I feel more than confident, grateful and happy to be passing the managing goggles of Swim Hanoi onto my friend and colleague Anita."

Anita Wilczęga, has worked at Swim Hanoi and been mentored by Alexia for the last 2 seasons. She is an experienced, fun, creative and strong young woman who will take over the Swim Hanoi classes in full, after Alexia's departure in the Summer.

You can find out more about Anita's bio on the website under the "About" section. Or you can ask her next time you see her at the pool!

Anita will continue to work with Alexia for the next few months until taking over at the end of June.
